WHAT TO EXPECT.
I know being in front of the camera can feel a little awkward at first—whether you're wrangling toddlers, holding a wiggly baby, or just unsure where to put your hands. That’s totally normal. My job is to help you relax and be present, not perfect.
This isn’t about stiff poses or forced smiles. It’s about presence over perfection—the joy in your toddler’s wild curls, the way your partner looks at you when you’re not paying attention, or your senior’s quiet confidence as they step into a new season. If we get a smiling-at-the-camera shot, great. But if not? That’s okay too. My sessions aren’t centered on getting those images anyway. In fact, I’ll usually tell you not to look at me—unless I specifically ask you to. So the pressure is off.
I’ll guide you just enough so you feel supported, but the real magic happens in the in-between moments—movement, laughter, little bits of conversation. That’s where we find the good stuff.
Before your session, we’ll touch base about location, outfits, and anything meaningful you’d like to capture. I have a few go-to spots I trust for great light and easy access, but I’m always up for somewhere new—especially if it has sentimental value.
Afterward, you’ll receive a private online gallery of hand-edited images (usually within two weeks). And the best part? You get to keep them all—no extra charges, no pick-your-favorites pressure. Just real, beautiful images to keep and treasure.
